Good but... Positive: This place has real pros and cons. Pros - fantastic location, good pubs on doorstep, self-contained, easy to navigate to and a private parking space. This is fantastic for York. Negative: The cons - the bathroom and bedroom windows open into a pub car park / beer garden. It's incredibly noisy until about 30 mins after kicking out time. The bed is like concrete and there was no way we could have stayed 3 nights! It's basic (not a con) but feels a bit like a student rental with all the IKEA furniture and such an uncomfortable mattress

basic but adequate, within easy walking distance of the city and with the bonus of parking Positive: cleanliness of property and convenience for the city Negative: Wood round shower base rotten, mirrored wardrobe only one door safe to open, front of bottom drawer on chest of doors falling off. Lack of communication from host, still awaiting reply regarding lock problem on waste disposal lockup, 7 days after query!!!

Overall clean, good location parking a definite bonus, adequate acommodation for price. Positive: Location was very good, easy walking to most attractions. Kitchen well equipped. Underfloor heating. Personal parking space. Negative: Cleanliness of shower base, black mould. Toilet brush holder rusty and unsightly. Shower base falling apart. bottom drawer front falling off. No point offering early check in the day after arrival.

Very disappointed Negative: We had booked a 3 night stay . However the bed was so hard and uncomfortable that we had no sleep for the first 2 nights so had to go home at 6.00am the day before we were due to leave. The shower was not working properly as it was boiling hot and was unable to turn it down so we could not have a shower whilst we were there. There was also mould on the wooden skirting at the bottom of the shower tray. I contacted the owner as soon as we left via text , what’s app and email to report what had happened. I had NO reply at all , which I was extremely disappointed about. I know the messages were received as I was messaged when I got there to give my car details. It seems to me that they want your money quickly enough but disappear when there is a problem! I lost £114 for a night that I couldn’t stay there and spent £342 on a break that I couldn’t even get any sleep !

Great location, great apartment, great host. Positive: This is in a perfect location for exploring York, clean comfortable having the parking space was such a bonus. Everything we needed was provided. An excellent apartment that we will book again.
